It takes 12 years, on average, for Publix drivers to drive 1 million miles. The time and energy put into reaching this milestone — and doing so safely — does not go unnoticed.

When our drivers safely reach this milestone, they receive a certificate of accomplishment and a jacket with the million-mile safe driving logo at an annual recognition banquet. Our 3-million-mile safe driver recipient also received a vacation paid for by Publix.
