Since we introduced PASSport in 2011, Publix has added several enhancements to make it easier for you to access the information you need. We recently added two more features that speak to our culture.

Associate announcements

Want to share the joy of a new baby or request positive thoughts for someone facing an injury, illness or loss of a loved one? Now you can.

Visit PASSport > Personal > Associate Announcements
to submit a birth/adoption, injury/illness or funeral announcement, and it will be published immediately. Before publishing, you must acknowledge you have permission to submit the message on behalf of an associate.

In addition, you’ll see monthly thank-you messages to associates who have served or are currently serving in our military, as well as store managers and support directors who have received promotions.

“We’re a Publix family. Bringing associate announcements to PASSport is a great way for us to celebrate and support each other,” Corporate Communications Strategist Dena Gregory said.

United Way giving

Mr. George believed United Way was the most efficient way for associates to give to multiple agencies whose services met the critical needs of people in our communities. So, to help connect our associates with our culture of giving, donations can now be made through PASSport > Community > Give.

All associates can make a one-time donation to United Way at any time. And, during orientation, newly hired hourly associates have the opportunity to enroll in automatic payroll deductions through PASSport.

“Giving to United Way is part of our culture, and we wanted to make it as easy as possible for associates to be a part of that,” Manager of Associate Services Greta Dupuy said.
