Publix chef cooks up lasting memories

We receive letters, emails and phone calls from associates throughout the company seeking to recognize their co-workers or managers for excelling at strategic tasks. Check out one of these inspiring stories — you may see someone you know!

Chef Richard Wilson, #1345, Plantation, Fla., catered my 25th silver wedding anniversary party for 50 guests in my home. My guests were pleasantly surprised to learn that Publix offers catering services, and I would love for associates to know about this great service.

Richard and his staff went above and beyond my expectations. Every detail was covered, including passed hors d’oeuvres. I didn’t have to do anything but enjoy myself!

The food was delicious and tailored to my taste. Chef Richard and I met to discuss the menu. He made all changes and accommodated all of my requests.

The service lived up to Publix standards. When the party was over, my home was spotless — Chef Richard and his staff cleaned my kitchen!

I can’t say enough about the wonderful evening my husband and I [pictured left] had with our family and friends.
