Manager of Electrical Engineering Ray Sirianni has spent 36 years building lifelong friendships and electrical solutions at Publix.
Ray’s Publix career started in 1981. After working in retail during high school and college, he took a break to learn his trade and returned in 1998. In his current position, Ray oversees the electrical design for new stores and remodels.
“Electrical engineers are the designers behind electrical systems, working on everything from the power grid to the microchips inside cellphones and smartwatches, ensuring their smooth functioning,” Ray said.
Ray is involved in the initial store or shopping center design development, construction and post-opening phases. He ensures that our designs meet the operational needs of our retail customers. Ray also supports our facilities maintenance, real estate and industrial/warehousing teams when they have electrical issues.
He contributes to the company’s growth, embraces challenges and adapts daily to our ever-changing environment. And Ray is always focused on self-improvement and enjoys working as a team.
“Working at Publix is not just a job,” said Ray. “It is about being an owner and constantly seeking ways to enhance our products and expand our knowledge base. What I love most about my journey are the lifelong friendships I have formed and the sense of unity in working toward a common goal.”
