Virginia
History and nature lovers will feel right at home in the Old Dominion. The state’s smaller towns are home to campgrounds and hiking trails. In Richmond, the state’s capital, you will find a booming downtown atmosphere with over 30 craft breweries, unique restaurants and even paddle boarding for the outdoor lovers.
Not to mention, Richmond is centrally located so it’s just a daytrip to the Blue Ridge Mountains, the beach or our nation’s capital. We have plans to grow in Richmond in the future — eight stores are already open in the area, and there are more to come. Opportunities in Virginia include openings for grocery and deli clerks.
The Carolinas
Didn’t think you could move to the beach without breaking the bank? Think again. South Carolina’s beaches, dubbed The Grand Strand, offer coastal living on a budget. The area’s cost of living is 7 percent lower than the national average.
Myrtle Beach is a tourist destination, and locals will tell you it’s a short drive from the resort towns of Pawleys Island and Murrells Inlet.
Or, pack your bags and head to North Carolina! The cities of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill make up “The Triangle,” which is one of the top areas for relocation in the U.S. The area is an easy go-to for singles, couples and families, with numerous attractions for entertainment and live music.
Retail opportunities are abundant in the area for deli clerks, decorators and meat cutters. Seven new stores are planned in the Carolinas for the remainder of 2018, with more to come in the future.
Tennessee
From Johnny Cash to Little Big Town, Nashville is Music City. But while the area is known for its recording industry, Nashville also offers parks, nightlife and museums. Home to the NHL’s Nashville Predators and the NFL’s Tennessee Titans, sports fans will also feel right at home in the area.
Publix has six stores in the city and an additional 25 in the surrounding area that need you. Murfreesboro is just about 30 miles away and is known for arts, culture and history. Publix operates four stores in the area, and opportunities for growth and advancement are abundant. Multiple openings are available in both areas for grocery and deli clerks.
Florida
From the Florida Keys to the Panhandle, our stores in the Sunshine State are looking for associates to fill roles in the grocery, deli and meat departments. Ocean fanatics will love the coral reefs of Islamorada and multiple areas for boating and fishing.
Or, move to Panama City to explore the state’s natural wetlands. Marine parks, trails and attractions mean there’s something to do every day for all ages. Don’t forget to bring your golf clubs!
