Assistant Store Manager Sean Madden, #1552, Cary, North Carolina, enrolled in the tuition reimbursement program to earn his bachelor’s degree. He was familiar with the program from discussing it with new hires but hadn’t considered going back to school until his first child was born.

“I wanted it to be important for my daughter, so it needed to be important to me,” said Sean. “I want her to have a great future. By getting my degree, I’m showing her she can, too.”

Sean is studying business finance. Between working full time and caring for his two children, he knows the importance of making the most out of his time. He takes online classes to accommodate his busy schedule and wants other associates to know they can do the same. He encourages anyone interested in going back to school to consider the tuition reimbursement program.

“I am making a sacrifice today to be more successful tomorrow,” he said. “I knew I wanted this, so I made that commitment, and I’m doing it.”
