Hyped to be part of the Publix GreenWise Market family

Lead Beverage Clerk Rshwined Scott, #1696, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, never imagined a part-time college gig would turn into anything.

Almost 4 years later, Rshwined is happier than ever to be part of the Publix GreenWise Market (PGWM) team.

“I came into it interested in the health aspect, and thought it would be a great job while I was in college,” said Rshwined. “Never would I have seen it lead to all the opportunities I have had with this company.”

Rshwined joined the POURS team at #1573, Tallahassee, Florida, when it opened in 2018. After working there for a year, Rshwined took an opportunity to grow with the company and open #1674, Boca Raton, Florida, in 2019. Then in 2021, she moved to #1696, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as a newly promoted lead beverage clerk.

“I was so excited to get the chance to move with the company and experience a new team and city,” said Rshwined. “Becoming a lead beverage clerk meant that I got to put into action all of what I had learned over the years.”

Rshwined enjoys planning tap takeovers, working with local breweries to bring in new and exciting brews for customers, and training her team.

“I had so many amazing managers who wanted to help me grow and move up in the company, and I try to do the same for my team,” said Rshwined. “Publix GreenWise Market and Publix provide those opportunities with the promote-from-within mentality, which was another thing I fell in love with when I joined.”

While Rshwined has always been a people person, PGWM gave her a place to not only connect with her team, but also the community.

“What makes our team just so special is the Publix culture and the expectation that comes with Mr. George’s legacy to provide that premier customer service,” said Rshwined. “We get to connect with our communities on such a deep level through events in and out of the store, such as serving customers coffee on an early morning or pouring them a glass of wine after a long day, and attending events throughout the surrounding area.”
