Meet the 2026 Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day contest winners

In April, we celebrated Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. As part of the day’s activities, children at both support and store locations could participate in a contest to have their artwork or essays featured in Publix News.

This year’s theme was “Inspire the Next Generation,” so we asked our associates’ children to learn about different career paths and think about how Publix associates help others.

Elementary school students were encouraged to draw a picture showing how Publix associates inspire others at work. Middle and high school students could submit a short essay on the same topic.

Our mailbox was filled with entries, and we were blown away by the creativity of participants across store and support locations! Now, we’re excited to reveal this year’s contest winners.
