New year, new benefits!

Paid time off (PTO) and short-term disability are here!

It’s a new year, and now you have more flexibility to use your time off the way you want or need to. It’s all part of our commitment to being a great place to work.

Combined vacation, sick time and holidays

Vacation, sick time and holidays are no longer separate time-off benefits. It’s all considered PTO! For full-time associates:

  • Enjoy more flexibility. The sick time you previously accumulated each year — and could only use for approved personal injuries or illnesses — has become 6 additional days you can use when you’re sick or if you simply want more time off.
  • You won’t lose your sick time. It’s being kept in a sick pay bank and will be used for approved personal injuries or illnesses.

Sick, injured or having a baby?

New short-term disability insurance replaces a portion of your pay for up to 12 weeks. If you have any remaining sick time, you must use it all before you can receive short-term disability benefit payments. Eligible full-time associates are provided this insurance at no cost.

New benefits for part-timers

Accumulate up to 20 PTO hours per calendar year! And if you’re eligible, you have the option to purchase short-term disability insurance at a low weekly cost.

Carry over unused PTO into the next year

Up to 10 days of accumulated PTO can be carried over from year to year. And starting this year, you can carry over holiday bonus that can be used as PTO into the next calendar year.
