Plato’s Path continues

Map, passport and magnifying glass illustrated graphic

Plato the Publixaurus celebrated his summer in the great outdoors! Our favorite green dinosaur made stops on hiking trails, mountains and even the Brooklyn Bridge! Of course, he still found plenty of time to hit the coast, visiting beaches from sea to shining sea!

So that’s how it stays together! Glutinous rice — better known as sticky rice — was one of the ingredients used when building the Great Wall of China. And walking this 13,171-mile wall is great exercise for this Publixaurus!

Dinosaurs need downtime too. Plato spent part of his summer vacation visiting the beautiful islands of Exuma in the Bahamas.

Did you know it took 14 years to build the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City? Today pedestrians, bicycles, cars and even dinosaurs travel the bridge to cross the East River.

3

Checking out the view is a great reason to get outdoors! Plato hiked Pine Mountain in Georgia.

This dinosaur loves anything green. Plato visited the world’s largest pistachio — 30-feet tall — on a pistachio orchard in Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Time for a walk by the water! Plato spent a day in the sun at Hudson Beach, Florida.

Plato took a moment to enjoy the scenery at Sand Hill Scout Reservation in Brooksville, Florida.

Be sure to take Plato along on your next adventure. With your help, maybe he can travel the world.

Download and print your own Plato or find a paper Plato in your Publix Communication Center. Then, snap a pic and send it to corporate.communications@publix.com. Be sure to include your name, work location and photo caption.

Where will Plato go next?
