In April, we celebrated Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. As part of the day’s activities, children at both support and store locations could participate in a contest to have their artwork or essays featured in Publix News.
This year’s theme was “For a New Generation,” so we asked our associates’ children how associates can work together to create a better future.
Elementary school students were encouraged to draw a picture showing why Publix associates should work as a team. Middle and high school students could submit a short essay on the same topic.
Our mailbox was filled with many awesome entries from participants across store and support locations! Now, we’re proud to announce this year’s contest winners.
