In April, we celebrated Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day. As part of the day’s activities, children at both support and store locations could participate in a contest to have their artwork or essays featured in Publix News.
This year’s theme was “Inspire 2 Aspire,” so we asked our associates’ children how associates can inspire each other to improve our environment.
Elementary school students were encouraged to draw a picture showing how Publix associates can inspire each other to take care of nature. Middle and high school students could submit a short essay on the same topic.
We received contest entries from participants across store and support locations. While it was a tough decision, we’re delighted to announce this year’s Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day contest winners!
