Feel the excitement growing at GreenWise Market

At #1701, Ponte Vedra, Florida, our team keeps the energy high.

Why did you want to be part of your GreenWise Market’s opening team?

Produce Manager Phillip Kirk: I like to experience new projects daily to get the creative juices flowing. GreenWise Market offers me the ability to mix up my routine every day.

Assistant Produce Manager Cody Peet: When I first got to see the management team’s excitement, it immediately made me want to be part of this wonderful team!

What drew you to the new concept?

Meat Manager Matt Bogle: Being on the front lines of a new concept for our company. GreenWise Market caters to a specific clientele in a fun way that our competition cannot deliver. It is very innovative.

What is your favorite thing about GreenWise Market?

Store Manager Leslie Anderson: Seeing the specialists in wine, cheese and prepared foods and the lead beverage server all grow and lead throughout the entire store. I love seeing the excitement in their leadership abilities.

Grocery Manager Dustin Poling: The best thing about GreenWise Market is the energy when you walk in. It feels like a cool place to hang out.

What do you hope to see as your store grows?

Customer Service Manager Candace Vieira: I hope to see excitement continue to grow with associates and customers as they learn everything GreenWise Market has to offer. The coronavirus has limited our abilities to do sampling and special events, so I can’t wait to see how much fun we will have when we can run at full speed.

Assistant Customer Service Manager Amanda Phelps: I would really love to see our store establish relationships with our community, for customers to trust us and come back simply because it is fun! I’m so excited to get involved.

How has your community reacted to GreenWise Market?

Prepared Foods Manager CJ Webb: I believe our community has been wanting something like this for a long time! We have finally given them an opportunity to shop for items supporting their lifestyles, without sacrificing the overall shopping experience.

Now that the store has been open for a couple of months, what have you learned about putting a new concept store into practice?

Assistant Meat Manager Josh Gill: I’ve learned that it takes a lot of work and dedication to open a new concept store. Our team came together and knocked it out of the park.

Assistant Prepared Foods Manager Kortney Carter: I’ve learned cross training is everything. In the EATS department, there are so many roles associates can work in, and training across various roles makes them even more valuable to our team.

Tell us a story about a customer interaction that showed you what makes GreenWise Market different.

Assistant Store Manager Josh Pafford: We are constantly listening for ways to help serve and learn from our customers. For instance, I spoke to a customer who was looking for a vitamin B supplement with folate instead of folic acid. This customer wanted the natural form instead of the synthetic form. After some research, we were able to locate a few supplements that met her requirements and had the opportunity to learn something new!
