Charlene began her Publix career in 1979 as a cashier at Food World, a different Publix format, which is now #356, Lakeland, Florida. She became a photo lab supervisor in 1992. In 2001, she joined real estate and held numerous positions, including real estate specialist, property specialist and property representative manager. Charlene was promoted to her current position in 2018.

Dolly Parton. She’s a positive person who does many great things for the community.

Publix Fudge Mint Cookie Squares

What’s one thing on your bucket list?
I would love to go on a safari and see the wildlife up close.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
I have 6 grandkids and have been with Publix for 45 years.

What’s your favorite TV show?
I like watching “The Voice” because of the music.

Out of all the places you’ve lived, which is your favorite?
North Palm Beach, Florida

Where is your favorite place to vacation?
Italy! I love visiting because of the food, people, culture and relaxation.

What’s your favorite ice cream or gelato flavor?
I like strawberry gelato.

What’s your favorite thing to do for the 4th of July?
I love going to the beach with my grandkids and watching the fireworks.
