The President’s Award is presented to 1 district manager from each of our 5 divisions and 1 support leader who embody the philosophies of Mr. George. Recipients have proven their commitment to growth, fairness, diversity, and maintaining the dignity, value and employment security of their associates.

Let’s meet our 2022 President’s Award recipients.

Atlanta Division 
District Manager Allie Holberg

Allie genuinely cares for her team and customers, which is reflected in the work she does every day. She holds everyone to our company’s standards and does so in a supportive manner that earns the respect of associates. Her encouragement and support make the stores she oversees successful.

Charlotte Division 
District Manager Dawne Steinbach

Dawne spends a considerable amount of time with each associate to listen to their needs and provide clear communication and coaching. She has participated in Publix’s mentorship program and has served as an informal mentor to many managers and associates in her district.

Jacksonville Division 
District Manager Nicolla Binford

Nicolla shows her dedication to Publix associates by providing 1-on-1 coaching and personalizing her approach for each associate. She is passionate about selecting the right leaders for each role and setting up new managers for continued success.

Lakeland Division 
District Manager Julian Agollari

Julian supports the company’s foundational strategy to hire, train, promote and retain associates. His passion for Publix and his genuine care for and commitment to his team are evident in his district. He maintains a balance between expectations, education and empowerment that keeps his management team informed and working toward the same goals.

Miami Division 
District Manager Kris Crapo

Kris leads a diverse district and empowers each associate to find a career path by providing equal opportunity for development and advancement. He is committed to inclusivity and believes associates from different backgrounds bring greater value to Publix.

Support
Manager of Warehousing Operations Caven Morgan

Caven has shown remarkable care and appreciation for his associates, encouraging them to be better and live the Publix culture every day. He believes in building Publix from within, motivating associates to learn more and seek advancement in the company. Caven’s leadership skills have helped various managers advance in their careers, laying the groundwork for their future growth at Publix.
