Digital Marketing Analytics Manager Victor Fagundo started his career at Publix when he was 14 as a front service clerk at #407, Land O’ Lakes, Florida. Later, he became interested in information technology and worked in various positions at other companies while in college. However, he was drawn back to Publix in 2019.

Victor’s team in marketing works to track how new marketing and media campaigns perform on Publix’s website and app. His team also analyzes customer usage online to help the marketing department develop and grow current campaigns.

On a typical day, Victor views his position as a “data tour guide” for the marketing department. The marketing team uses the information collected to power a new initiative or support new ideas to appeal to customers in the digital world.

“We work to get the data they need to determine how successful a campaign is, and that data helps decide what we need to do next,” Victor said.

But what is it that Victor really enjoys about his job?

“The support that I’ve received from my managers and their managers. It’s cool to see that Publix really takes care of its people.”

Those looking to get into digital marketing analytics should meet the required qualifications, including a 4-year degree in business, marketing or computer science, or equivalent experience across multiple platforms.
