Industrial operations 2018 award recipients announced

Celebrate with Awards!

Distribution, industrial maintenance and manufacturing recognized outstanding associates and facilities during their annual meeting in April.

The awards highlighted safety, operational excellence, community service achievements and dedication to Publix during 2017.

Safety Award

The Safety Award recognizes a team of associates who consistently strive to make safety a priority within their operations. The facility is selected based on results that demonstrate their commitment to safety — such as low incident frequency and cost rates — and practices like following through with the safety plan and managing safety proactively. Each associate at the facility receives a lapel pin, and the facility receives $500 for a celebration.
