The Idea Spot team has been busy. Since January, they have received over 3,000 submissions!

Associates who submit qualified suggestions to Idea Spot can get some cool Publix gifts. This year, more than 1,200 associates have received a large blue envelope filled with Idea Spot swag.

Ideas we’re looking for

A qualified suggestion is one that can be applied broadly across our stores or companywide. To be considered for further consideration, it must also

• reduce Publix’s costs
• improve efficiency and/or
• improve a current process.

What’s next?

When an idea meets those requirements, the Idea Spot team sends it to the respective business area for consideration. Since January, nearly 1,500 suggestions have been forwarded to see if they can improve our company.
