AI is a helpful tool, but it’s not a replacement for your skills and judgment. While AI may be a great resource, it comes with some risks. Check out these helpful tips before you begin using this tool.
Generative AI usage and security tips
- Never enter Publix information into unapproved AIs like ChatGPT. Only Publix-approved resources may be used for company use.
- Avoid sharing sensitive or confidential information. Whatever you enter into AI could be copied and shared online. If you’re loading a document into this tool, remove information that could identify you, such as your Social Security number or birthday. Consider creating a dedicated email address for online services like this to help protect your identity and privacy.
- Always fact-check what AI creates. It may not understand your questions or may misinterpret the resources it has access to. Because of this, some AI information may be misleading or inaccurate.
