You may have heard the saying, “People don’t leave companies, they leave their managers.” According to a survey conducted by the compensation, culture and careers monitoring website Comparably, Publix associates feel their managers are some of the best, and that’s one of the reasons associates make careers here.
Publix recently appeared on Comparably’s list of companies with the best managers at large companies — those with 500 or more employees. Many companies on the list, like Publix, offer management training programs, and invest time and money to train managers on how to best lead their teams.
Publix was the only traditional grocery chain on the list.
