Publix News: A pillar of our culture and history

We’ve come a long way since the first Publix News was created in 1947 as a one-page information sheet. Initially called “Within the Company,” the publication took on its current name in 1959. In the beginning, Publix News was typically published every other month in the format of a small magazine. Now it’s published monthly.

Since its inception, Publix News has served as a primary source of communication with our associates, allowing us to share key information, celebrate our successes and highlight the great work they do every day.
