The Great Place to Work Institute and Fortune named Publix No. 4 among the 15 Best Workplaces in Retail.
The list is a best-of-the-best ranking based on surveys by more than 23,000 employees in the retail industry on how frequently they experience behaviors that create a great workplace like management’s dedication to honesty and ethics, camaraderie among employees, respectful treatment and clear expectations from management.
“Being recognized on this list among the best of the best is such an honor. I’m proud to say I work for Publix, and I’m so happy to know our associates feel the same way,” said CEO & President Todd Jones.
Each company’s score is based entirely on employee feedback, and the final ranking reflects the 15 companies with the highest total scores in their size categories.
