Publix has been named the third most trusted U.S. company in the sixth annual Temkin Trust Ratings.
The study was conducted by the Temkin Group, a customer experience research and consulting firm, and is based on a survey of 294 companies across 20 industries. Temkin Group asked 10,000 consumers to identify companies they interacted with during the last 60 days and rate them from 1 (do not trust at all) to 7 (completely trust).
Publix led in the supermarket industry, which averaged the highest trust rating, followed by insurance carriers, retailers, investment firms, hotels, parcel delivery services and banks.
