United Cerebral Palsy presented Publix with its 2013 Employer of the Year Award. The award recognizes a business or volunteer agency that has made an outstanding contribution to employing people with physical disabilities or provides training programs leading to employment, and has created a better working environment for people with disabilities.

United Cerebral Palsy educates, advocates for and provides support services to ensure a life without limits for people with a spectrum of disabilities. The organization works to advance the independence, productivity and citizenship of people with disabilities through its network of affiliates.
