New tags hitting shelves soon!

You’ll soon be seeing something new in our stores. Newly-designed shelf tags are rolling out, and there are a few things you need to know! The most important thing to know is the new tags make it easier for customers and associates to find the information they need. Check out more about new tags below, and look for them in stores starting this month.


0915PNews-shelf-tag-group2Are your customers looking for special products, like gluten-free or organic? New icons help customers identify these product attributes.

Items made without artificial preservatives, colors or flavors will now have a white shelf tag — instead of a brown one — and will be identified with this leaf icon.


OrganicBrown tags will now only be used to identify items that are organic or made with organic ingredients.


SpaghettiThe new tag displays multiple product attributes and programs, which allows us to give customers more product information than ever before.

The new design ensures all shelf tags have a consistent placement of information, regardless of the tag size. Customers now can find the information they need in the same place on each tag.

The new shelf tags display most of the information associates need to know across the top of the tag. This makes it easier for them to locate product information.
