Publix associates are empowered to serve

Our Mission at Publix

As associates, giving is on our hearts and minds, and we show it every day. From the Florida Keys all the way to Clarksville, Tennessee, we’re continuously looking for ways to give back to our communities.

Part of Publix’s mission is to be involved as responsible citizens in our communities, and by doing so, we can give back our time, talent and money to help others. Whether it’s a large-scale, companywide campaign or a local event, every volunteer and contribution matters.

Living Publix’s mission comes easy for us because Publix people are passionate about doing the right thing. We value the lessons and legacy left behind by Mr. George and work every day to make him proud.

Teams of walkers across our operating area rally together to raise money and march for babies with the March of Dimes.

Merrill-Road-Elementary-05

Local projects throughout the year help provide landscaping for schools, volunteers to read to children or visit senior citizens, and many other causes.

Habitat For Humanity

From hammering in each nail to brushing on the last coat of paint, volunteers work tirelessly to build homes for Habitat For Humanity affiliates.

Feeding the hungry, homeless and others in need

Each year on Publix Serves Day, thousands of associates give their time to serve the hungry, homeless and others in need.
