Allen Brown began his Publix career in 1984 as a front service clerk. He worked various positions in retail until he was promoted to systems specialist in 1991. He later served in the Atlanta Division as the divisional pricing coordinator and the retail skills training manager. In 2008, he began working as a technical specialist for the deli, where he held various roles before being promoted to his current position in 2016.

What’s your work philosophy?
Surround yourself with great people. Train those associates, share your vision with them, and give them the tools and resources needed to succeed. It’s amazing to see what results can be achieved!
What is the best career advice you received?
Work hard and be the very best in the job you currently have. Only worry about the things you can control.

To go hunting in Alaska
What’s your proudest moment?
Every time I conduct Associate Appreciation Visits. I feel extremely humbled when I can speak with and thank associates as Mr. George did years ago.
