- Unpack the kit with care. Then, remove the shrink wrap.
- Use a baking sheet or cutting board to assemble your gingerbread store base.
- Decorate your walls with icing, candy add-ons and more before you assemble them. Be sure to knead your icing before using it.
- Let your icing harden for at least 15 minutes to keep your decor in place before you begin putting the gingerbread pieces together. While you wait, turn on your favorite carols or knock out some of your holiday shopping!
- Use icing to hold your walls together and follow the notches to figure out where your walls should meet. You can add more icing to the inside of your store to help keep it in place. After all, it’s the outside that needs to look pretty — but the inside is just as delicious!
- Raise the roof. Once your walls are secured, top your creation off with the roof. Then, decorate it to your heart’s content!

- Let your gingerbread store fully dry for 3 to 4 hours.
