New seafood dishes highlight new flavors and an old favorite

In a hurry but crave something better than the nearest drive-thru? Want to impress your loved one on date night, but your culinary skills need some help? Have a hankering for seafood?

Have no fear. Publix is here for you. Along with our many ready-to-eat, ready-to-heat and ready-to-cook meals, we’ve added 4 dishes that highlight seafood, all of which debuted this spring and are in our seafood department.

Salmon

For something hearty, consider nutrient-filled salmon, which is one of America’s favorite fishes, according to The Healthy Fish. It’s filled with protein, vitamins B12 and D, iron and potassium. Salmon is low in saturated fats and rich in omega-3 fatty acids that can help lower your chance of getting several diseases. One new salmon dish offers a Mediterranean flair, while the other is prepped to perfection with Japanese ingredients:

Cheesy Spinach Stuffed Salmon with Zucchini and Grape Tomatoes: The flavors of the Mediterranean come alive with a creamy stuffing blend of vegetables packed in our savory salmon.

Miso Glazed Salmon with Green Onion and Yakisoba Noodles: Our fresh-cut salmon portion, topped with sesame seeds and miso sauce, is a delicacy when paired with delicious Yakisoba noodles.

Tilapia

If you’re looking for something on the lighter side, give our new tilapia entree a try. Tilapia is a lean fish with protein, vitamins B12 and D and potassium. Treat your body and your taste buds to our tangy tilapia dish.

Hibachi Tilapia with Rice, Broccoli and Asian BBQ Butter: This Asian-inspired meal features an aromatic seasoning draped over a fresh tilapia fillet, paired with delicious vegetable rice and broccoli.

Shrimp

Consider trying a new shrimp meal too. Shrimp is a shellfish that is high in omega-3 fatty acids and promotes heart health.

Shrimp Scampi over Fettuccine: This classic, savory meal features succulent shrimp over buttery garlic pasta. It will bring the taste of Italy home to your kitchen.

These 4 new bake-at-home meals retail between $6.99 and $8.99. So, stop by your local Publix and give them a try.
