Publix truck drivers play a vital role in our supply chain. Not only do they ensure products are delivered to our stores so customers have what they want and need, but they do so while safely representing our company on the road.
In 2025, our truck drivers will
- travel approximately 100 million miles
- complete over 600,000 trips and
- make more than 1.7 million deliveries to our stores.
Celebrating our drivers
National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is an opportunity to show our gratitude to our Publix truck drivers. We recognize their hard work and commitment with a special menu every day and a gift, like gloves and flashlights, that they can use to do their job. At our stores, associates show their appreciation for our truck drivers by creating displays, making posters, and handing out snacks and treats.
